The
Las Vegas Bug-In is the seasonal points finale for the PRA and the Der
Renn Kafer cup. We offer drag racing for all types of VWs. Participants
may enter a PRA class or the DRKC as long as they comply with the requirements
of the class. All cars must comply with the NHRA safety rules and/or
PRA rules for each class. Please check the PRA rule book if you have
questions.
Pro Modified
The PRA's quickest and fastest class and the fastest class in all of organized VW drag racing worldwide! A weight per cubic inch Heads-Up class with No Index and No Breakouts! First one to the finish line wins! This class is made up of Naturally Aspirated (Pro Stock type), Nitrous oxide fed and or Turbocharged (Pro Turbo) racecars. PRO MOD starts with .4 pro tree and running in the 9's at over 160 mph!
Super Street
Also a weight per cubic inch Heads-Up class. But limited to pan based VW bodied cars only with normally aspirated engines. No Index and No Breakouts, just heads up drag racing! SUPER STREET starts on a .4 pro tree. With ET's in the low 10's at speed over 130 mph!
Super Comp
A Heads-Up based 10.90 index class starting on a .4 pro tree.
You must run as close to 10.90 as possible, without going quicker. Run quicker than 10.90 and you break out. A very competitive class but with no minimum weight or engine displacement restrictions. Dragsters and Sand rails prohibited in this class.
Super Gas
16 c A Heads-Up based 11.90 index class starting on a .4 pro tree.
You must run as close to 11.90 as possible, without going quicker. Run quicker than 11.90 and you break out. A very competitive class but with no minimum weight or engine displacement restrictions. Dragsters and Sand rails prohibited in this class. ar field, Min.
Pro Eliminator
The entry-level class in the PRA, this class is a bracket-style class. From 10-second door slammers to 13-second street cars, this class offers a variety of racing excitement! field 7.50 - 12.99 ET index
Super Modified
Debuting in 2006 is the PRA's new entry-level class for Index racing. A Heads-Up based 12.90 index class starting on a .5 pro tree. You must run as close to 12.90 as possible, without going quicker. Run quicker than 12.90 and you break out. Dragsters and Sand rails prohibited in this class.

There's a class for any type of VW. The care show is judged by the participants
and is free with a paid adult admission. We have 1st 2nd and 3rd place
awards and a few special awards.
